FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Skating has its risks and all participants will have to sign a waiver acknowledging that we all skate at our own risk. You may want to check with your own health insurance provider to see if you are covered for accidents outside your area. If you are coming from outside the US, you should check that your medical insurance covers you while on foreign travel.
The easier it is for you to be seen at night, the better. Blinkies are required for the night skates. Light color/reflective clothing is advised. Night skates are not the time to try out your new black spandex skinsuit! Head lamps are always recommended at night. And as always, helmets are required. The sequined jumpsuit is not required, but may be a fun outfit to wear as you glide through Times Square. Remember, you are skating at your own risk.
